Reviews and details of facilities:

I am very disapointed with the service i had at roaries the staff you have employed their are ignorant & only think of themselves.

The prices are very high to pay to basic food.
& the seating area is not very big.

But the company itself is only out to make money they couldnt care a less about yours or your childs needs.

If anyone is interested in going to roaries id advise them not to.
Unless you want to be served by ignorant staff (MATT)
Matt was one of the staff that i was disgusted with his manners were awful, he made my child cry.
Your children are meant to go to roaries to have a good time not to be upset by the staff!!

Just thought i would leave a quick comment.
As a jungleland employee i am proud to actualy say that i work for the company.

it has come on so much over the past 8 months and alot of changes have taken place to improve customers visits to the company. and give them better value for money.

it is very clean and also the parties are really well organised i would recomend jungleland and also wonderland to any one.

Whan I read bad reviews about Jungleland former Roaries I cannot believe that its the same place that Ive been to. I booked my little boy's 5th Birthday party there 29th May 2008 and it was fantastic, totally organised from start to finish. All we had to do was turn up with the kids! There's a mini disco for the kids and the mums (if your'e like me)to join in. They then go and play until they're called for they're birthday food which is a choice of hot and cold food including vegetarian choices. Followed by icecream and cake. Party bags are included. Then its more play time, their was a section where you could look at or hold real animals and I mean real wild animals. My little boy had a pyton wrapped around his neck and was stroking big hairy spiders (sorry cant spell terrantila?) Mums and Dads can relax in a very comfortable seating area, have have a drink or a bite to eat. One of the best if not the best organised birthday party events I've had. We'll be going again for sure. Well done to everyone at Jungleland, I felt very relaxed and assured that the children were being looked after, I was consulted throughout the day with regards to the events of the day. Fantastic, keep up the good work, see you all again soon.

roaries is expensive but where isn't these days? but where else can you take your kids all day indoors and see them have so much fun for £4.50?? i take mine there most weekends and they love it i don't understand why people put the place down! if there was one criticism it would be that the main play area could be slightly bigger, they have all that space so it could be done! i would score the place 8/10 and my kids would give it 10/10 and that says it all roaries is the place to go :-)

Since Jungleland has been taken over it is vastly improved. The admission is £2.99 which is very reasonable. I don't understand why play is unlimited some days and limited on others there seem no really clear rules for this. The main problem there is the staff. They are all very young, most of them are rude and would rather sit gosspiping about what they'd done the night before than keep an eye on who is coming in and out of the premises. The doors are meant to be opened by a touch button high up out of childrens reach but every time I go they are just opening and closing. One little boy managed to get out onto the busy carpark completely unnoticed by the staff. The equipment is excellent and everything is very clean. Food is pricey but good and refillable drinks are a bonus with small children.

I normally go to the pirate ship at halesfield, but came to roaries for a change, found food and drinks to expensive, seating uncomfortable, and too far away to supervise two children, there was no supervisor in the play car facility for a while when we where there so the que became very big and didn't look very safe with children running in area while cars were going round, just on the whole not very impressed, will not be returning,

roaries was great til it changed to jungleland same owners as wonderland telford. as with wonderland its too expensive. jungleland is now £4.50 per child and now operates 2 hour time slots as before kids could play all day. the meals are nice and hot but the portions are skanky and expensive. i will not be visiting again until the prices drop. as i have 3 kids and 4.50 each and only 2 hours play is too dear.

I really cant believe that people think that this buisness is not very good. I am a mother of two children 1 is 4 and the other is 10 months. When coming in to Roaries the lady who is on reception in the week is very helpful, she always greats us with a big smile and always talks to the the children which is nice. We come every monday and friday and my children love it. I know that the equiptment is not all that clean but i think that is due to the amount of children that are in their each day. However places like this are not just all about the equiptment its about how you are treated. the majority of the staff amke you feel welcome and are extreemly helpful and are great with the children. I just hope that now wonderland have taken over they keep on the staff that were originaly Roaries as they work hard through tough times. I believe that Roaries is a good place and would recomend to everyone!

This has been taken over by Wonderland and they have really pulled the place together. It has improved so much! I am a childminder and stopped going because it was so col in there and the dirt...aggghhh! I visited again on Monday, pleasently suprised. Place was spotless, staff extreamly helpful and friendly. Lady owner even spoke to me and she is the nicest person you could meet. Asked me what i didn't like before and said what she was putting in to place to make things better. Told me to ask for her anytime. I shouldn't be puprised as Wonderland is always spotless and extreamly well run. They should be very proud. Both places well worth a visit!

This place is wonderful. I went recently with my 18 month old son and a friend who has a 2 and a half year old girl. It was a week day so there were no bigger children around and it was very quiet. I was very impressed with the price. ADULTS FREE, where do you see that these days? Refillable drinks too, you need it after running around all afternoon and no limited play time. We spent 3 hours there and us adults and the kids thoroughly enjoyed every minute. Especially the big slide. Great for those who are still children deep down.

I visited recently with my son. As we arrived we were greeted with a smile and a enthusiatic HELLO. The staff member on reception showed us round and gave us some information on parties. That sound fab!
Whislt my child was playing he had a dissagreement with another child and this was quickly dealt with by the manager.
I was very impressed and will visit again!

Just thought I would tell everyone who is not impressed with Roaries, that it has recently been taken over by Wonderland Telford.

This means alot of improvments (and more friendly staff). The improvments to Roaries are startin right now and should be fully complete by Easter.

I have visited this venue on several occasions and each time I go this place gets worse.
When we got there there was inadequat seating because some tables were left full of rubbish from previous visitors.
The table we sat at had a large spillage on the floor which we reported no less than three times but the spillage was still there when we left three hours later. Obviously safety isn't the number one priority.
The person giving announcements gave out an incorrect message, but we are used to this because they do this all the time.
The staff were clearly not happy to be there and were not very helpful.
The prices are very high and the room was very cold.
The climbing area for the kids has now been placed altogether so all the kids are in the same area regardless of age. So the smaller kids are pushed and shoved by the older ones resulting in tears.
The play area also had several areas that had been closed off for some reason.
There was no hot water available in the toilets.
Cleaning was not carried out satisfactorily and the party bags contain less and less each time.
If this is supposed to be Shropshires best then this says a lot about what is available in Shropshire.
A lot of people were moaning about the place.
Utterly disgusted will not choose to visit again! If you want something better then visit Wackey Warehouse in Ketley or Wonderland in the town park.

This place is fab! i have tree children one 6 months, one 2 year old and one 5 year old. They all love it! Roarie the loin came out to see the children and went into the disco room and got all the children and parents up to dance. My son can't wait till his party that i have booked for him. The staff where very helpful, both on reception and he cafe areas. Having 3 children this really helps when staff are happy to help. All play centre i have been to before have dirty, smelly toilets but Roaries tolilets where very clean and i noticed they are checked every hour! I would recomend this to all parents.

This has to be one of the best playbarns I have every visited. Great for kids of all ages with very seperate areas for babies, toddlers and more lively over 5s. The seating is comfortable and stylist and the refreshments are reasonably priced and good quality. It's a little expensive but the kids get a free ride on the indoor train and a cheap return visit (limited time period). There is so much to keep them entertained you soon stop worrying about the price.

A great venue for kids parties or simply for us parents who seek the 'peace and quiet' of just not hearing "Mom I'm bored" every five minutes!

Highly recommended.
