A good example of the (at the time of writing London-only, but expanding nationally in 2006) GBK chain.
Non-smoking and child friendly for all ages from tiny babies upwards, this is a reliable family destination. Food is a range of good healthy burgers (including vegetarian options) in adult (i.e. huge) and child sizes, with a small range of side orders and drinks (including milkshakes that are popular with all ages). Seemingly unlimited numbers of highchairs are available and staff are extremely friendly towards children.
No play facilities. No specific breastfeeding facilities and the seats aren't really sufficiently comfortable to breastfeed in unless you had to. I've never noticed the nappy changing facilities but not sure if that means there aren't any or just that they are very well hidden...
