Attended their Halloween party and it was great!!! Nice atmosphere, staff all dressed up and so much entertainment for the kids. We love the place. There is always something fun going on.

Facilities for children are a soft play area for 3s-and-under, a soft jungle gym, and various paid-for-with-tokens attractions. There is also quite a bit of empty floor space -- on the plus side this means scope for just running around in circles letting off steam, but as a minus it does mean that when it's crowded (and it gets really, *really* crowded at weekends and holidays) there isn't always enough to do (apart from running around in circles, which begins to pall after a while) to support the sheer volume of children who descend upon the place. In my opinion the toddlers' section could also do with being larger and better-maintained.
The toilet facilities are good and there is a separate baby-changing room -- although without a sink, so if you feel that *maybe* it's a good idea to wash your hands after changing your child's nappy you'll have to visit the bathrooms anyway.
Staff on reception are unfailingly lovely -- those in the cafe area a little more hit-and-miss (although generally still lovely). The food is better than at similar places I've visited elsewhere in the country and there's a good variety of organic stuff for the children -- obviously, though, it's on the expensive side as that's where the money is.
The facilities are on the first floor and the storage for buggies is just leaving them folded on the ground floor in the lobby at the bottom of the stairs, open to the street. While this does make me a bit twitchy, in practice I've never heard of any buggies being stolen when left downstairs.
There are no specific breastfeeding facilities but it's the sort of place that almost anyone would feel comfortable breastfeeding in public.
I like Eddie Catz a lot, but I do sometimes feel it could do with some local competition to encourage it to focus on areas for potential improvement rather than resting on its laurels.

Just off Putney High Street this playcentre combines the best of a coffee shop with a play area for kids. It has a nice selection of salads and panini, good coffee and there is plenty to keep the kids entertained (playframe, games, classes, rides). Entrance costs between £3.50 and £5 depending on age and you can buy a meal and entrance fee for £9.50.
We love it and I usually drop my husband and our young kids while I go shop. Staff are young, friendly and multi-lingual (a bonus!).
