I was here recently keeping a friend company during a laser party. I was very impressed. The staff were full of energy and engaged the children throughout. They were very attentive while supervising the games, and kept the mood upbeat and energetic while making sure the kids got their drinks and rest.
The coffee was strong and could be improved, but the facilities and staff were wonderful. Top marks. I'll be looking to book a party there for my son's birthday.

Funky Monkeys has undergone some huge changes in the last 12 months, yes things did down hill for a while over 12 months ago, but the businees faced a very difficult time with the business owners separating. Funky Monkeys is now operating at its best again and customers have returned. Pop in and give it a try you won't be dissapointed.

I went to a friends laser birthday party here last month and it was brilliant.
the music was well loud and we got the guy to put on the mission impossible music.
Im going again for my birthday!

Kids had a great time here as they do at all playcentres, but it is very dirty and smelly. I would not feel happy letting my children eat at this place and will not be returning seeing there are plenty of clean playcentres around.

Funky Monkeys is fantastic! Had a laser party there recently and all the kids loved it (as did I as I got to join in). The staff were really helpful and on the ball, and BRILLIANT with the children. I didnt see any of the mess or snail trails previously mentioned, anywhere.
Music was fab, food was fab. I think I might have a party there myself next birthday!

The staff are friendly enough, but they need to get from behind the reception area and get cleaning. Has gone downhill very rapidly within the last 12 months. It's a shame as the location is very covenient, but I refuse to let my child eat & play in a place that has fresh SNAIL TRAILS all over the carpet and around the baby area!

forget all the new ones this is a must. Funky monkeys is tops as far as I am concerned, not on some retail park or industrial estate but right in the heart of the community where a playcentre should be. STAFF ARE FANTASTIC AND PLAY KIT GREAT.

A fab indoor play frame area, there is play suitable for babies up to older children. There's also a fab disco room for the more energetic to let off some steam.
they offer very healthy choices in the cafe e.g cous cous dishes, roast dinners etc and they have a kids menu also with treats.
For the older kids there is a laser game area.
The is baby change area, highchairs in cafe, wheel chair access and non smoking area (although it should be completely non smoking in my opinion)
