We chose to have our Christmas party here and were very dissapointed.
The food was absolutely disgusting. We ordered burgers & chips, Vegie burgers, scampie and cajun chicken. We were told that our food would be ready at 8:30 but we had to chase it up at 9:00. We finaly got it at 9:30.
The burgers were just burgers. I.e. A burger with no bap. All that was on the tray was a beef burger with chips. We had to return all fifteen meals because they were all under cooked and stone cold.
The food was cooked on the outside but not in the middle. We had to ask if they had heard of a probe for measuring the temperature of the food, but they just gave a blank look.
Our second lot of food came and the staff apologised stating that there was a shortage of staff. We were suprised of this because we had booked in advance several weeks earlier. (How much notice do these places need?)
Even on the second attempt at cooking some food it was still far from adequate. The cajun chicken was still pink inside, there was hair in another of the meals, the burgers still came without a bap and 3 people had less on there trays than they originaly received.
Most of the food was wasted and most of us had to ask for our money back.
I went to the bar to get some drinks and the manager told me that he would be with me 'in a second'. He went off to do other duties so I asked the four (yes FOUR) staff members, (who were in the shoe area doing nothing but chatting because no-one wanted shoes changing), if they could serve me. They replied that they couldn't because 'it wasn't their area'.
The manager came back about 10 minutes later and had to get some other girl to serve me.
This was a very dissapointing night out and if anyone wants to go bowling then I can only suggest that they travel just a little further and visit the bowling alley in Shrewsbury.

Attractions that sell food as a side venture are often given a bad press for overpriced and poor quality food. So it was with some anxiety that we decided we would not only take our daughter and friends bowling to celebrate her 13th birthday but also to eat there afterwards.

The food at the Teford Superbowl was some of the best fast food I have encountered in a long while.

The table menus offered a surprisingly large choice, which includes oriental-type dishes for a fiver, pastas and baguettes and even a steak with all the trimmings for around £7.

My taste testers were the best kind, six hungry young teenage girls and two equally hungry nine-year-old boys all of whom had thoroughly enjoyed their game of bowling.

The boys opted for the burger choice from the all-in kids' menu which included a small soft drink. Their meals arrived in a basket-style dish, a two-ounce burger and loads and loads of chips.

Half of the girls opted for chicken burgers with the other half going for bacon sandwiches with chips on the side. And as 12 and 13 girls are want to do, one was very insistent that she wanted her burger completely bare.

The latter turned out to be very large baps with not such a large amount of bacon inside. But again the amount of chips was very impressive.

Probably the most successful choice was the chicken burgers and chips arriving basket meal style again with loads of chips.

Stacey got her bare burger just as she had asked while the others had theirs complete with lettuce and sachets of mayonnaise to add if they wanted.

The chicken in the battered chicken burger was hot and tasty but it was the chips that were the stars of the night. They were hot and tasty and with not an extra ounce of fat on them.

The Superbowl cafe also does a small selection of traditional puddings and ice-creams and it will also provide an all-inclusive party deal with bowling and a special meal.
