Reviews and details of facilities:

I'm a regular at Playzone and wholegeartedly disagree with the negative comments. The staff may be young, but are extremely helpful and do take the safety of children on the equipment very seriously, but at the same time are able to have a bit of fun. The playarea itself keeps the children entertained for hours on end! If it was as dirty and unsafe as people think it is, then why would I even dream about taking my children back there? If you go mid-week or towards the end of the day on a weekend, you will see the claning these "kids" do...I have more or less watched them for two hours, and they still were by no means finished when I left! The prices are more expensive than some other local playareas, but I do think it is worth the extra expense..the new membership is truly a bargain, and a great incentive! I have seen the way some customers treat these "kids" - not only do they have to put up with rude and threatening customers, but also very negative comments on here. I have been a regular there for months, and will continue to be a regular there for a very long time! WELL DONE PLAYZONE!!

I like going to playzone but I agree with some of the comments saying it is very dirty. I wouldent take young children there because the place is filled with older kids who can be quite rough. We do go there occasionaly and enjoy but they need to clean it up alot.

Kids love this place because of the big red slide. Beware, this place is run by kids, therefore it is very dirty, the carpets need a good hoover and the toilets are disgusting. They had spilt toilet cleaner over one toilet seat and never wiped it off and there are still green stains on the seat to this day. The prices are high and they also charge parents to go in. I don't think its as safe as it should be there either because on occasions I have noticed holes in the high netting which the kids have to walk over (very dangerous), especially if a smaller child walks on it, they would fall straight through. A child slid down a slide with wet trousers on, causing the slide to be very smelly. we reported this and the young man took a can of air freshener, sprayed some and then told us he could smell nothing. It really is a very smelly, dirty place...YUCK!!!!

The place is filthy sorry. To compete with the new place Wacky's in fforsetfach you need to get your act together. It's far cleaner over there. Not as big, but its more open and bright. And cheaper and they don't charge parents to go in.

i have been here on numerous occasions and although there is plenty to do and my little boy (aged 2) does enjoy himself, i have to say the toilets are awful. the nappy bin / changing room is smelly and is dark, dirty, dingy and as soon as you walk in there you feel you dont even want to put your baby anywhere near the changing station for fear of catching something!! i decided to either change him b4 going or if i have to take pull ups so i can change him elsewhere. the food is quite good and has a wide selection. the prices have now increased to £4.50 which i think is a bit of a hefty increase compared to the £3.50 i paid last time. generally the equipment is ok but looks like it has a lot of wear and tear and some money should be spent!!
aimed more for older children 7+

I have never been to such a dirty place in all my life. When I went there were only 4 children (including mine) in the there. I went to the baby changing room only to find the bin had obviously not been changed for a long time as they were piled up quite high on top of the bin. I would only go back if she was invited to a party of someone close. Also didn't help that the 3 young workers were playing catch with a ball by the entrance!!!

Excellent, my 2 year old daughter really enjoyed. £3.50 and for that she had sandwiches, crisps, biscuits a juice and I had a drink.

Clean, well supervised, and the most important aspect for me was the seperate toddler area.
Am going back next week. :-)

A great way to spend 1.5hrs when it is wet and cold outside!
I took my son and niece (ages 1 & 3)
Great value for money, it was a toddler session we paid £3.50 per child which included a free drink for the adult and a squash for the kids.
Fun, safe and friendly
Well worth a look.

This is an indoor play area with a difference and is suitable for kids aged 1-61 (if you dare!!!).

There is a soft play area for the younger children and a more adventurous area for the kids aged 4+.

A variety of slides provides hours of entertainment with the bigger slides getting the adrenalin going. Once conquered they become addictive.

I don't know if the parents or the children have more fun when at Playzone (provided the parents will allow themselves to have fun and have the nerve to tackle the 'Big Red Slide'!!!!!!!!)

An eating area with reasonable prices, but limited menu. Has enough though for a quick meal out with the kids.
