Great place for a day out. They have family trails so you can do things together as a family and learn at the same time. They are very childfriendly here. Agree with all said in previous review.

We went with the family ice scating last weekend after seeing it advertised here which was great and visited the palace and went in the maze. Fab day out (just slightly pricey which is why i am only marking as a 4 rather than a 5!)I have copied details from their website of family stuff as i think i'd miss the information out otherwise. It is all accurate:-
There is a designated Family Room where parents and young children are invited to take a rest from the bustle of the palace! The play equipment includes a Duplo Lego table, an activity cube and various soft play shapes, all suitable for children under 5. Children must not be left unattended. The Family Room is next to the Information Centre in Clock Court.
Family Trails which guide children around the palace are available at the Information Centre.
The palace is pushchair friendly if your child can bear the bumpy cobblestones! A lift is available if you want to access the upper floor without using the stairs. Please ask a warder for assistance. There is a pushchair park off Clock Court; this is not supervised so leave at your own risk.
There are baby-changing facilities in both the male and female toilets near Base Court and in the female toilet in the Tiltyard Tea-room.
If any child becomes detached from their party, please let a member of staff know as soon as possible.
Lost children are taken to the Information Centre in Clock Court until they can be reunited with their group.
Adults bringing small children to the palace should be aware that it has awkward stairs, precious objects, traffic and lots of water - and we've found that children can travel a long way if they wander off as adults admire the buildings and gardens.
Please ensure that children understand that if they become lost they should ask a uniformed warder for help.
The maze is closed 17 Jan – 7 Feb
