Temple Newsam is a fantastic family day out. Included in the attractions are miles of walks, over countryside or through the woods; 2 adventure playgrounds, one for the littlies and a larger one for older children and a Rare Breeds farm yard (entrance £1 unless you hold a Leeds Card, and then it's free). The site also includes a cafe for lunchtime fayre.

LOADS to do for a full day out. And the added bonus of a house filled with history/artefacts to look around if your kids are well behaved enough ;o)
