We visited with our 2 year old and 7 year old boys and stayed here for an hour (although I think the children could have watched the planes for hours). You can get quiz papers each specific to different age group to do things like eye spy sort of games etc. This is a good place to visit before flying with children for them to become accustomed to the different aspects e.g check in, metal detectors and there are actual aircraft seats that they sit in to test out. There’s a flight simulator you can go in and a brass rubbings area to rub on some planes. There are quite a few displays and videos which the children weren’t too bothered about looking at, they wanted to go straight and look at the actual planes landing and arriving. There are clean toilets here and baby changing facilities. Parking will cost about £3 for 2 hours parking, alternatively get the tube in from London to heathrow t1,2,3 and then get the bus which is free.
