Loved it and facilities were great, clean, clean, clean toilets and area, even has huge and very clean cubicle you can take pram in.... very handy to know if want to go on own. Baby change area very clean with seating, separate room would be perfect but its the only baby change room where you know it is cleaned regularly as smelt nice. Staff all friendly and feel this is a very child friendly place with picnic areas in an out, be warned my son loved play area that much refused to stop to eat.... prob best to go to other one near BBQ area or indoor one, and two places to purchase food and eat indoors and BBQ area outside.

The museum is great to keep little dads and their sons entertained for hours.
When hunger strikes head to the fantastic restaurant. Surrounded by locomotives and dining carriages it is an experience you just cannot miss.
They have a soft play area which our two-year-old son enjoyed letting his steam off!! There was quite a good selection for youngsters on the Hungry Monkey menu. They could have a smaller portion of the main courses or have pizza, sausages and beans and jacket potatoes. There was also a Thomas The Tank Engine box - sandwich, crisps, biscuit and drink. If you take your own food they are happy to heat this up for you in their microwave. The staff are extremely helpful and noting we had a toddler in tow carried our tray for us to a free table.
We were in and out in about an hour, which gave us plenty of time to explore the museum. Just the ticket.
