Actually, they do have children's colouring packs - piccolo packs which have stickers to colour, threading, pop out animals to colour and make etc. We think they're rather good!

Our local Pizza Express has always been extremely accommodating when we have taken our baby and toddler for a meal there, in fact more than half the tables are generally taken by families with children and babies when we go. The restaurant is clearly child friendly, but not child centred - which is perhaps why it appeals so much to parents. By this I mean there are high chairs and baby-changing facilities, but no separate childrens set menus or colouring sets and collectable toys. It's a place where parents can bring their children and still feel like they are having a grown-up, dining-out experience. Children are catered for: they can have a mini-sized pizza - a pizzetine with the topping of their choice. No one will blink an eye if you want to give your child a slice of your own order, just ask for a spare plate. The only downside is the time to get orders - it was almost 40 minutes before our pizzas arrived - which is way too long to wait when you have a hungry toddler at your side and secondly when you call your restaurant Pizza Express.
