I visited the new Roaries yesterday 16.08.08 as i thought i would give it another chance as the place had really gone down hill since Wonderland took it over!! It is now transformed - and i must say so is the attitude of the staff. My child cut his foot and Becky (the manager) attended to him. She was wonderfull with my little boy and even though busy, had plenty of time to make him comfortable and stop him crying. She then continued to check on him whilst mucking in with the staff and getting her hands dirty!! Great atmosphere, all staff were smiling and the place even though heaving was spotless!! I will make Jungleland a regular treat for my kids...Congratulations to the new owners who have done a fantastic job with the whole building and choice of staff!!

jungleland is fab my two little boys enjoy it very much i cant even drive past without them screaming with excitement so i always call in. its brill to see the train is back and the safari jeeps are excellent. eveywhere is always very very clean especially the equiptment compared to the pirate play pit which my kids hate!!!! the new owners are very friendly the staff are very helpfull although sometimes could do with smiling abit more and communicating more with the children,i understand its not there job to babysit them but it would be nice if they talked to them, there is plenty of choice when it comes to the menu.i agree with comments made about the shop, i to dont like that its open plan 4 the kids to mess with the toys! the toilets are always very clean adn smell fresh. so a message to all those moaning give jungleland a chance its been taken over changes are being made and there is bound to be teethin probs!

I think Jungleland is a great venue, my little girl loves it, so I try to get there weekly. I have always found the staff very friendly, and the facilities (play areas, the train, cars, toilets, nappy changing room, party areas and general spaciousness) are ideal. The decor is lovely and vastly improved from when it was Roaries. I think the midweek price is excellent. My only small gripe is the new open plan shop, as little ones are a bit too tempted to grab the items for sale (especially items on the floor in tubs), and it gets a bit of a pain trying to explain to little ones they can't have them! That said I'd still give it top marks.

As a member of staff at both Jungleland and Wonderland i would like to write a response to Helen Morris as I am very sorry to hear of the feelings she holds towards Jungleland. Firstly for all the changes that have been made here since Roaries our prices are very reasonable. £2.99 for 2+ and £1.99 for 1-2 years old mid week and £4.50 peak times (weekends and holidays) includes a free ride on our new train and unlimited play. The time slots are only put into place at our busy periods so that everyone has an equal chance to play.
Our front door is operated so that it wont automaticly open to children onto our busy car park. This is done for health and safety and not meant as an inconvenience.
As for our shop, we have had alot of good feed back from many customers on this new feature. It gives variety to your visit and offers all gift for under £10.
Any increase on the food prices has simply been to offer our customers a higher standard of food e.g. we buy 100% beef burgers rather than a cheaper alternaive. We offer a wide variety including healthy options though all food and drink is set at a reasonable price that we have little complaint over.
All of our staff pride themselves in trying to keep our customers as safe and happy as possible, though we do ask parents to keep an eye on their own children as we are not a child minding facility. This said, any misbehaving within our equipment we deal with as quickly as possible.
I certainly enjoy working among our enthusiastic team, and hope to see you at Jungleland in the future.

food. Also it is a good price!

It was my first visit jungleland today with my two children my wife. We where welcomed by the receptionist and manager. we were asked if we had visited before, then offered a tour of the building before entering.
The manager showed us around the building pointing out all the new attractions including a train and jeeps. VERY POPULAR WITH CHILDREN AND PARENTS!! She the showed us to the very comfy sofas where we stayied for the next 3 hours. Great time had by all and i've also booked my son's party at a very reasonable price. Thanks to the manager for being so helpful and welcoming.

I used to bring my fiance's little sister when it was known as roaries and found there was not much to it. But recently its become jungle land and i can't wait to come check it out as a check it out as a customer.
I think both wonderland and Jungleland are great for kids as there isnt alot for little ones in Telford where they can enjoy themselves.

1. Roaries prices have never been £2.50 the price was £4.50 7 days a week.
2. The only time that time sesions are in place is when its half term, so all customers get an equal ammount of time.
3. As for employing staff to watch the children, Jungleland is a family play centre NOT A NURSERY!!!
4. All of Junglelands employies have Qualifications, and are in full time work or further education.
5. The shop is in place for children and adults to look in and if they want to buy something they can. The only time children get told to put an item down is when they are blowing into things or putting their mouths arround them. THIS IS HEATH AND SAFTEY.

Im not very keen on the 'new Roaries' or Jungle land as its now called. The prices have gone up and they have started introducing time slots which is really inconvienient. The prices for drinks, food etc is also too high. Staff are more worried about making cash fast than the saftey of our children. I know we are the parents but there are times when u cant pay full attention especially if u have more than one child like I do. Th front door is easy to open as it doesnt work properly and the gates dont lock. Also there is no need for the toy shop they have introduced as this just makes the children want things and then the adults get pestered to buy it. Its a clever but wrong way to go about it by the staff. The shop was much better out front. My little lad is only two and he thinks the toys are there to play with and has been told off by staff for doing so but in my eyes they SHOULDNT BE THERE IF U DONT WANT CHILDREN PLAYING/MESSING WITH THEM! what a stupid idea it was , Obviously whoever thought this one up has no kids! I much prefer Pirate Adventure in Halesfield s its cheap, friendly, safe, you get toast, tea biscuits and juice in with the price too! I will be going here from now on I think.

Jungleland is great.
I go every weekend with my 3 children.
The staff are fantastic, if there are any children missbehaving, it gets reported to the staff who deal with it appropriately.
As regulars we find the staff excellent esspecially the new characters. My children are always bothering a staff member, Mikey, and he always has time for them even though he is hard at work.
I cant believe that parents are expecting staff to look after their children. Your called a parent, do it yourself. There are signs saying that children under 5 must be accompanied by an adult in the main play area. so do your job parents!
I asked about the time slots, they are only put into action when the place is really busy, not to dissapoint people who turn up and find that they cant get in. Otherwise you can stay there all day if you want.
Overall, Jungland is now fantastic and my children cant wait until the train comes back.

Oh my goodness i'm so surprised by the comments of Claire, Jess and Chloe. Everytime i have visited Jungleland it has been great. The staff are always very helpful, you need to remember they are not a child care service, that is the job of the parent. The only problems i have had at jungleland are parents not watching there children!! I had a fab party for my children at jungleland and will recommend it to all my friends.
I will continue to visit and look farward to the arrival of the car track and train!

i have not visited jungleland since the time slots have been introduced. my youngest child now uses the equipment too so my 3, 2 and 1 years cost me £13.50 for 2 hours. thats y we wont be visiting again. its far too expensive, we could have a cheaper time at wacky warehouse for £3 each.

I visited there last saturday, to find that:
1) The prices were too High for the equipment that was there.
2) The seating area was so Awful that we ended up sitting on the floor for an hour to get a seat.
3) I think that the age limit is too high , because my 3yr old child got hit in the face & pushed by a much older kid.
And she started to cry So waste of MONEY!!!!!!
And ended up leaving.
I think that the attitude of the staff is terrible, they are more interested in making money than helping out the customers.
EMPLOY MORE STAFF IN FUTURE WITH QUALIFACTIONS!!!
Or will not be visiting in Future...

when i have visited before, there was no reason or need for a shop, it is just incouraging parents to spend alot more money when you dont need to. there is also too much space in the middle seating area. when i visited there last week there was no staff watching the children as the older 1's where climbing up the big slide. no staff could be seen only around the kitchen more bothered about serving food than the childrens safety. the play areas where not clean. this is why i am unsure of visiting again. more staff should be there to watch children.
They now operate time slots of two hours and at a price of £4.50 per child. i feel this is very expensive. when i have visited before when it was roaries i paid £2.50 per child and we could stay as long as we wanted.

I am delighted to here all of the positive comments Jungleland has received on this web page. As the new owner of what used to be Roaries I have personlay worked extremely hard along with my great team, to put Roaries now Jungleland back on the map where it belongs.
Yes the train is coming back along with a safari car track hopefully in the next few weeks.
Friendliness and cleanliness are always my top priority along with customer service. Just to let you know everything within Jungleland is cleaned on a daily rota, and all staff as part of their job description have to be aware of safety on the play equipment all day everyday.
Boisterous children are given two warnings and then asked to leave the equipment.
I look forward to seeing you at Jungleland and Wonderland.

I have been taking my children to Roaries/Jungleland for about a year now and I am so glad it has been taken over by Wonderland Telford. They are improving it so much. THe play areas are spotless, espicialy compared to the pirate play pit. The new shop looks gret and is reasonably priced too. I am now lookiing into booking a party as the new characters look great and work really hard and the new party rooms look fantastic.
There were a few kids climbing up the slide as always, although, the staff would often tell them to stop and would often put out announcments out on the tannoy.
Jungleland, just getting better and better.

The reason why the price is £4.50 is because of the school holidays. This is also why Jungleland put on times sessions so that all customers can enjoy the facilities in equal amounts of time due to the high amount if customers they recieve. It is Policy for the company to do so due to security reasons. Roaries prices were exactly the same in half term but the price stayed the same throughout term time also. On Mondays and Wednesdays the prices changed £2.99 for childminders and children under the age of 4.
Jungleland have improved a lot of things that needed to be improved for example a shop has been opened, improved parties and party rooms, safer equiptment and dedicated team. I believe that Jungeland is a play centre that MUST be visited by children and their families and also believe that the changes have been for the better.

Jungleland previously known as Roaries. Is a large indoor adventure area for children aged 1-12. This large play area is under-going a massive facelift. It holds a very well equipt cafe. Three play area for different aged children and also offers childrens parties. Adults are FREE. The prices for children vary depending on the day of the week you visit.
Soon to come to Jungleland will be: A Train, Jeep Safari, New party rooms and a shop!!
