Reviews and details of facilities:

Clean play environment. Toilets could do with a bit of work. Damp smelling and toilet paper on the floor. Needs more frequent checking as children are going in there in their socks. Music was much too loud. Could hardly hear my child talking to me. Service at the food counter could have been better. The (very) young lady who served us managed to complete the task without talking! Food is good quality and the right portions for adults and children. The food is also good value for money.

I take my little boy to hippodome regularly. We have been going since he was 2 and he is now 4. I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND it to anyone with children. They have recently extended the facilities and now have a seperate room for older children containing go-carts, video games, air hocky, larger football area etc. All of those except go-carts are included in the very reasonable entrance fee!!!! and the go-carts are only a minimal cost. The whole place is fantastic, its the cleanest, friendliest and nicest playbarn i have been to. The food is great and the staff are so friendly.I feel totally relaxed when there knowing my son is safe and having fantastic time and the childrens parties are the best!!!!! Cannot praise it enough.

Hippodome was recommended to me by a friend because she and her children have such a good time there. I also thought it was brilliant and everything was well thought of. Well supervised gates to ensure the children could not get out without their parents, disabled toilets and ramps throughout the building. Pottery and build a bear available to ensure everyone of all ages is catered for. Really nice food and suitable portions for adults and children. Not to mention the really friendly staff that the children love and most have first aid training..I have never been to such a friendly, fun and safe environment. Thank you.

Sarah really has her wires crossed on this one.

I am the owner of Hippodome and although peak prices do apply at weekends and school holidays (the same as ALL other play centres) under no circumstances would three children ever be charged £20 - the maximum possible entry fee for three children in October 2008 would have been £12!

I aim to please as many people as possible as often as possible, but you can't please all the people all of the time!

In my recent H&S inspection the inspectors said they had not seen a cleaner, better maintaned play frame in their experience.

If you want to take your kids to a centre that is clean, highly maintained, spacious, welcoming and most of all safe and fun for the kids, then Hippodome is the place to come. There are other centres you can visit, but none come close to matching what is on offer here.

Hope to see you at Hippodome really soon!

RIP OFF!

We went there today, they'd doubled their prices for half-term. £20 for three kids and once you add on the price of food, it's REALLY expensive.

Wouldn't mind but the staff there are completely rude in my experience (we once had a competition about who could make the woman behind the counter speak first) and last time we were there, the owners were using power tools to do renovations while the children were playing!!!!

Too interested in trying to sell parents yet more activities and products and not interested enough in providing a good service, I think. Go to Mad Hatters - half the price and staff MUCH better.

This a new place just opened and it's brilliant. Clean, spacious, stylish. It has lovely coffee and the kids thought it was great too. They also have pottery painting in there too - quite reasonably priced too.
