About Childfriendly.net

What is it?

The aim of Childfriendly.net is to provide an online database of shops, cafes, restaurants and any other places that are child friendly (or not so friendly).

The site is UK specific and caters for anyone who is visiting an unfamiliar place.

The content of the database is created by visitors to the site who are invited to contribute their own experiences to share with others.

How can I help?

Simple. Without contributions from it's visitors, Childfriendly.net is pointless. That's where you come in. If you've had any experiences, good or bad, of locations in your local city, town or even village, whilst with your child why not add them to the database?

It only takes a couple of minutes and it could make someone's visit to that place much more pleasant. Also, if you're out visiting somewhere, make a mental note of your experiences and then add them to the database. Again, you'll be helping other people.

What do I get out of it?

The only thing we can offer for every contribution to the database is the satisfaction that you're helping other people. Isn't that enough incentive to start adding your experiences right away?

What do you have planned for the future?

We've lots of plans for the site and are looking forward to sharing them with you.

Most of all, we're hoping the database will become the popular and useful tool we envisioned it being. With your help it can be.

I've got an idea for the site, who do I tell?

Either you can go to the Contact Us page, or visit the "Site Suggestions" forum and make your suggestion there. We'd welcome any suggestions you might have.
